My approach is centered in warmth, safety, compassion and a deep respect for your individual journey. At the heart of my practice is Hakomi, a gentle yet powerful form of mindful somatic psychotherapy.
Working with this approach goes beyond traditional talk therapy. It means for example that I will not only listen deeply to your experience, at times I might also invite you to slow down, to become curious and to tune into the wisdom of your body. At a pace and depth that is right for you we make space for and explore thoughts, feelings and sensations that come with your experience.
Inside the safe space that we create together by moving with gentle curiosity and by including the body and the nervous system, we create the conditions that allow for your experience of yourself and the world to reorganise and make space for meaningful change and transformation.
