Working with me:

A dirt path winds through a dense green forest with tall trees and sunlight filtering through the leaves.

My approach is centered in warmth, safety, compassion and a deep respect for your individual journey. At the heart of my practice is Hakomi, a gentle yet powerful form of mindful somatic psychotherapy.

Working the Hakomi way goes beyond traditional talk therapy. It means for example that I will not only listen deeply to your experience, at times I might also invite you to slow down, to become curious and to tune into the wisdom of your body. At a pace and depth that is right for you we make space for and explore thoughts, feelings and sensations that come with your moment-to-moment experience.

Working in this safe space with presence and gentle curiosity and by including the body and the nervous system, we create the conditions that allow for your experience of yourself and the world to reorganise and make space for meaningful change and healing.

It is this unique combination of body awareness, emotional processing and present moment awareness that opens the door to personal transformation, which goes beyond cognitive insight and understanding.
